02/26/10 ModOration has a bunch of pictures of Brendan Fehr in his latest project– an ABC Family movie called The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice. The summary? In “The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice,” Francia Raisa reprises her role as Alexandra “Alex” Delgado in the film franchise, whose figure skating career came to an abrupt halt after her partner (on and off the ice) became injured. As their love affair cooled, a heart-broken Alex stopped competing and turned to teaching. Enter James McKinsey (Fehr), the smoldering bad boy of speed skating, who has had fiery Alex in his sights as a skating partner ever since he was banned from speed skating. The movie premieres on ABC Family on Sunday, March 14 at 8/7c.

01/21/09 Colin Hanks has been cast in a new indie-comedy movie called, “High School”, along with Adrien Brody and Michael Chiklis. The story is “centered on a high school valedictorian who gets high with the school stoner and faces a drug test, then decides to get the entire school stoned so he can beat the test by making everyone fail.” Colin’s character’s name is Brandon, but that’s all that is known about his part in the movie as of now. 01/12/09 Ronald D. Moore, a co-executive producer for the second and third seasons of Roswell, mentions Roswell in an interview about Battlestar Galactica and it’s prequel series Caprica. “I had personally been obsessed with the song ['All Along the Watchtower'] for a while. So, I had – thought it was a fascinating song and the lyrics – I had wanted to work it into a project of mine for the last several years. 01/12/09 Zap2It posted an article announcing that Shiri Appleby will join actors Kristoffer Polaha and Kerr Smith to star in The CW’s hourlong pilot for a television show called “Light Years”. “Appleby will play a morning radio host, Cate Campbell, who has been tracked down by her long-lost child Lux (Brittany Robertson), a foster kid who decides on her 16th birthday to track down her biological parents. She finds Appleby and bar owner Nick “Baze” Basile (Polaha), who haven’t spoken to each other since that fateful one-night stand in high school. Adding to the mix is Campbell’s boyfriend Ryan (Smith), who is her co-host on the show.” Check out the article here.

12/23/08 In a CNN article from In Style about memorable proposals, Devon Gummersall and Majandra Delfino are mentioned, referring to his proposal in Nantucket, Massachusetts. “Devon Gummersall, 29, thought he’d blown it after a 1998 date with “Quarterlife’s” Majandra Delfino, 27. “I showed up in this awful leather jacket, and Majandra was like, ‘Who is this guy?’” recalls Gummersall, the former co-star of “My So-Called Life.” After losing the leather, he reconnected with Delfino at a concert five years later — and didn’t miss a beat. Soon, the future groom bought a garnet ring from the Beverly Hills Watch Co. and hid it for a scavenger hunt on a Nantucket, Massachusetts, beach. Says Delfino, “I dug up this white box, all sandy, and opened it. Devon said, ‘Do you know what this means?’” Delfino definitely did.” Check out the article here.
